Mechanical methods
Thermobond Induction fastening technology is an innovative solution that combines the benefits of prefabricated EPDM rubber membrane and non-penetrating mechanical fastening for most common types of roof constructions. This method replaces the most common adhesive bonding technique.
The roofing system is well-suited for both insulated and non-insulated roofs. The fastening plates are positioned according to a predetermined wind load calculation. The EPDM rubber membrane is not attached at the seam or overlap, unlike other conventional membranes. Immediately after the fastening plates have been screwed into the substrate, the membrane is rolled out over the plates, allowing large areas to be quickly covered and waterproof. The weld between the fastening plate and the EPDM rubber membrane is completed in a few seconds from the top of the membrane using a portable induction welding machine.

System with tabs
This innovative non-penetrating system enables quick, safe installation with minimal risk. The EPDM rubber membrane is secured to an extra attachment (reinforced Tab) with plates beneath the EPDM rubber membrane, ensuring durability and stability without penetration. The system is prefabricated to match roof dimensions, making it easy and efficient to install for a precise fit and optimal performance while lowering installation cost.

System with induction
This innovative system provides a quick, safe and non-penetrating installation on EPDM roofs. It offers immediate temporary weather protection and significantly reduces installation time compared to traditional waterproofing methods. It can also cover large areas to create a fast installation. The technique is compatible with various substrates, including wood, concrete, cellular concrete, and corrugated metal, often with an intermediate insulation layer. Thermobond Induction plates are screwed into the roof structure in optimal patterns, securing insulation and allowing membranes to be welded in seconds using a portable induction machine. This ensures a moisture- and water-resistant building from the start of installation.

Conventional fasteners
This EPDM roofing membrane features a polyester backing, providing exceptional strength and stability, making it ideal for insulated roof constructions. The membrane is mechanical fastened like conventional Roofing systems and welded with an overlap using a hot-air welding machine. Installation is a straightforward roll by roll system: roll out the membrane over the roof deck, secure it with mechanical fasteners and plates along the edge. This method is significantly faster than fully adhered systems and less affected by weather conditions during installation, ensuring efficiency and reliability. It´s robust design makes it suitable for both residential and commercial applications, offering long-term durability, environmental, sustainable and excellent waterproofing.
